How does American Football work?
The NFL appears to be quite complicated for rookies. But like in other sports, it’s about points: The teams are divided into Offense and Defense respectively. If the team has the ball, the Offense is on the pitch and the quarterback initiates the play. The goal is to bring the ball into the end zone, to score a touchdown. If the team is successful, they get six points. Additionally, teams can get points via a Field Goal.

There can only be one! Which team will win the Super Bowl LV and lift the legendary Vince Lombardi trophy at the end of the NFL season? Can the Kansas City Chiefs defend the title? Or will another team celebrate winning the biggest sports event of the year? With six Super Bowl victories each the Pittsburgh Steelers (Super Bowl IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL and XLIII) and the New England Patriots (Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XIV, LI and LIII) are the record champions. The Steelers are also the only team to defend the title twice. This feat was last accomplished by the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005. The final game has taken place a total of 54 times and 27 times a team of the NFC prevailed. Representatives of the AFC won just as many times.
