GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

Each bet shall involve the participation of bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd, based at St. Julian´s STJ 4011, Portomaso Business Tower, Level 12, commercial register number C35109, which accepts bets based on sporting events in accordance with the terms of its official licence LGA/CL2/192/2004 obtained from the Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA) in Malta which is a regulatory body of the Maltese government, and the customer placing a bet. At Casino and Poker the contract partner is bet-at-home.com Entertainment Ltd., based at St. Julian´s STJ 4011, Portomaso Business Tower, Level 12, commercial register number C35055, which is also endued with two official Maltese licenses LGA/CL1/192/2004 and LGA/CL3/192/2009 which entitle bet-at-home.com Entertainment Ltd. to provide Casino Games and Poker Games respectively. Any games provided in the "Games" or Livecasino" section of the website are not regulated by the Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA) in Malta.



In the following Terms and Conditions bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd. and bet-at-home.com Entertainment Ltd. will individually and together referred to as 'bet-at-home':


  1. General rules
    1. bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd. and bet-at-home.com Entertainment Ltd. are limited liability companies that run and manage the website bet-at-home.com. Registration on the site, any use of the services offered and all bets accepted by bet-at-home are subjects of these terms and conditions.
    2. bet-at-home reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notification. All editions will show version number and validity update time. It is the responsibility of the customer to regularly review all of them to see whether any changes or updates have been made.
    3. All references to "the customer" shall refer to the user of www.bet-at-home.com.
    4. bet-at-home does not warrant the constant availability and functionality of all or any products. bet-at-home may not be held liable and will be held harmless by the customer for any damages, losses, costs, loss of profits or any other disadvantage a customer may incur in connection with any disconnection from or the non-availability of any of the products offered by bet-at-home for whatever reason.
    5. Each clause contained in these General Terms and Conditions shall be separate and severable from each of others and valid for all products and services offered by bet-at-home except for Article 2 and all clauses referring to sportsbetting only. If any clause is found to be void, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining clauses shall remain in full force and effect.
    6. In concluding a bet or participating in the games, the customer acknowledges the validity and applicability of the latest version of these Terms and Conditions as amended validly in each case and, in placing his bet or participating in the games.
    7. The legal relationship between the customer and bet-at-home shall be governed by Maltese law by exclusion of the reference norm of the international civil rights. All disputes in connection with or arising out of any bet/game shall only be settled by the competent court having local and subject-matter jurisdiction in Valletta (Malta).
  2. Betting rules
    1. The minimum stakes are EUR 0.50, CHF 1.00, GBP 1.00, USD 1.00, DKK 10.00, PLN 1.00, CZK 10.00, YTL 1.00, BGN 1.00, RUB 10.00, RON 1.00, SEK 5.00.
    2. Upon placing a bet, the customer confirms that he does not have any knowledge of the result of the respective sports event.
    3. It´s within bet-at-home´s sole discretion to decline individual bets or to limit the stakes. Furthermore bet-at-home reserves the right to exclude users from the participation in betting and gambling without giving reasons.
    4. bet-at-home's records shall prevail with regard to the content of all bets. The account statement may only be amended in order to rectify an obvious mistake or an obvious written or calculation error.
    5. bet-at-home reserves the right to change the odds before concluding the bet in its sole discretion. The odds will not change once a bet has been concluded, i.e. the odds will remain fixed.
    6. A bet may only be cancelled or amended subject to the mutual agreement of both parties (customer and bookmaker), and this amendment or cancellation must be entered in the bookmaker's, that is bet-at-home, records. Exceptionally bet-at-home can also cancel a bet ex post, if the bet has been won caused by a technical error of the user and bet-at-home can verify the error/s via technical notes.
    7. If the betting event does not take place as specified in the odds sheet (e.g. change of venue or against a different opponent), the bet is void and stakes will be refunded. However, the bet is not void if the home team decides to relinquish its home advantage and voluntarily plays a game at an away ground, if the home team's ground is out of action or if the betting event is transferred to a neutral ground.
    8. If the bet is concluded after the betting event starts, or the stake is not covered by the account balance, the bet is void (odds of 1,00).
    9. The winner of a betting event is regarded as the team or person who is declared by the adjudicating officials to be the official winner no later than 24.00 hrs (calculated according to the local time at the event venue) on the day of the betting event. This also applies to long-term bets. Any changes to the classification made after this time shall have no effect on the bet payout, irrespective of the reasons for these changes.
    10. The result after 90 minutes (normal time) shall prevail in the case of football games and the result after 60 minutes (normal time) shall prevail for ice hockey matches. Any extra time or penalty shootouts, etc. will not affect the bet payout. Special agreements which are recorded in bet-at-home’s records form exceptions to this rule. In American sports (NFL, College Football, NBA, MLB) the result after any extra time (overtime) decides the bet payout. Bets on the NHL form an exception to this rule, where the result after normal time decides the payout.
    11. If a cancelled betting event starts before the end of the calendar day two days after the original date of the event, the bet will remain valid for the new betting event. Bets on baseball form an exception to this rule: if a game does not take place on the same calendar day, the game is calculated on the basis of odds of 1,00!
    12. If a betting event does not take place on the scheduled date, for whatever reason, or if the event is terminated without an official result and not restarted before the end of the calendar day two days after the original event, the stakes will be refunded or credited (with the exception of football and ice hockey games which are suspended after normal time or bets on baseball: if an baseball match does not take place on the same calendar day, the game is calculated on the basis of odds of 1,00!) If a betting event is abandoned, but an official result is given, this result is used to calculate the winnings.
    13. Bets are paid in consideration of any company limits which may exist. In the event of a "dead heat", payments are divided accordingly.
    14. The "play or pay" principle applies to all bets, i.e. if the starter on whom the bet has been placed does not play or run, for whatever reason, the bet is lost if the betting event takes place. Tennis forms an exception to this rule, as the stake is refunded if the player (or a doubles pair) does not play (odds based on 1,00). However, if a tennis player withdraws during the match, whatever the reason, the other tennis player is deemed to have won.
    15. If, in a multiple bet, a starter on whom a bet has been placed does not take part in a betting event, or if one of the events on which bets have been placed is called off, suspended or cancelled, or does not take place for other reasons and the relevant betting events are not played by the end of the calendar day two days after the date of the original event, these betting events are calculated with odds of 1,00. Bets on baseball form the exception to this rule: if a game does not take place on the same calendar day, the game is calculated on the basis of odds of 1,00! The same applies to betting events which have been wrongly listed on the betting programme (odds list) (wrong choice of venue), but not in the event of any team deciding to relinquish its home advantage, if the home team's ground is out of action or if the betting event is transferred to a neutral ground. If none of the starters on which bets have been placed in a multiple bet takes part in the betting events or if all the events on which bets have been placed in a multiple bet are called off, suspended or cancelled or if they do not take place for whatever reason, and the event is not transferred as described above, the stakes will be refunded.
    16. The same match pair may not be combined more than once. (Also applies to handicap bets, final result bets, special bets).
    17. In head-to-head betting, both starters must take part in the betting event. If either or both starters do not take part in the betting event, the bet is called off. In case that both of the participants of Head-to-Head bet drop out (for ex. None of them reaches the goal), both participants will be evaluated as incorrect. In case one runner does not qualify for the second round this will not be deemed as a drop out.
    18. Dog races are recorded dog races, whereas the import of the races happens at random.
    19. In the event of bets being placed on the "First goalscorer" and "Time of first goal", and no goals being scored (0:0), any bets placed shall be lost. Any extra time or penalty shootouts, etc. will not affect the bet payout.
    20. In tennis, bets will remain valid as long as the match is held during the course of the tournament. If a tennis match is decided by the withdrawal or disqualification of a player, the opposing player shall be regarded as the winner of the betting event for the purpose of winning bets, as long as at least one ball has been hit during the match. In the event of withdrawal or disqualification of a player, bets relating to the winner of the first set shall remain valid if the first set has been concluded; otherwise these bets will be called off with odds of 1,00. Set bets (best of 3 or best of 5) and tennis handicap bets and other special tennis bets will stand if a player withdraws or is disqualified and are calculated with odds of 1,00. If a tennis match is called off before at least one ball has been played, the bets are called off with odds of 1,00.
    21. If a football soccer game is suspended or no result is given, all special bets on this game such as "First goalscorer" or "Time of first goal", etc. will also be calculated with odds of 1,00.
    22. In case a Formula 1 race or any other motorsports event started behind the safety car for whatsoever reason this will not be considered a "safety car phase" during the race.
    23. If a boxing event does not take place on the scheduled date, for whatever reason, but is rescheduled within 28 days after the original date, all bets placed will be valid for the rescheduled event. In case the event is NOT rescheduled within 28 days after the original date, the stakes will be refunded.
    24. If a rescheduled boxing event does not take place in the country which was originally defined all bets will be void and all staked will be refunded. In case the rescheduled Boxing event takes place at a different venue, but in the same country as originally defined, all bets will be valid.
    25. The result at the end of a boxing event is irrevocable. This includes any recounting of the scoring judges votes. Belated changes of the respective institutions will not apply to the results of any bets.
    26. In case a boxing event is stopped prior to its completion, all bets are void, except of bets on the highest possible score in case this score has been reached already. In that case all bets retain their validity. If one of the boxers is not able to attend another round the previous round will be considered the last round of the fight.
    27. For knockdown bets in boxing every time the referee starts his count to ten it will be considered a knockdown.
    28. "Rounds bets" in boxing will be cleared after the round in which the fight ends. If one of the boxers is not able to attend another round the previous round will be considered the last round of the fight for "victory" results of the event.
    29. Winter sports: The winner of a Head – to – Head –Duel will be, if not stated otherwise, the participant with the better positioning in the final ranking. The final ranking according to the FIS (www.fis-ski.com) will be taken into consideration for the clearing of the bets. In case both participants have no clearly defined positioning according to the final ranking, the last successfully finished run will be considered for the final positioning.
  3. Live betting and live video
    1. Live bets are offered exclusively before and during an event on a dedicated live bets platform of bet-at-home. The odds are continuously updated to reflect the current status of a game.
    2. For live betting the betting rules (Art. 2) concerning game evaluation also apply with exception if during a tennis match one of the players abandons, all open bets will be void and refunded to customer´s account.
    3. bet-at-home asserts that there can be a delay of displayed score and time of a few seconds, although details about the precise length of the delay cannot be provided. Also Live Video which is advertised as "live" can be delayed. bet-at-home refuses to incur any liability for any loss that is caused by those delays.
    4. Customers are not allowed to copy, save, modify or distribute the bet-at-home Live Video content or support third parties in doing so.
    5. In case there is an interruption longer than 60 minutes in a live bet, all bets with exception of bets on "match result" and "set winner" (tennis) are calculated with the odd 1,00.
    6. The scoreboard is for information purposes only. bet-at-home cannot be held responsible for any errors or incorrect information on the live scoreboard and it is up to the customer to ensure they check the correct status of the game before placing a bet.
  4. The customer
    1. The customer declares that he is at the minimum age to be allowed to participate into gambling based on the national law system respectively and has no prior knowledge of the outcome of the respective sporting events. In case no legal requirement exists in the respective jurisdiction, the minimum age shall be 18.
    2. The customer declares that the source of all monies used by you on www.bet-at-home.com is not illegal and that he shall not use the account for any unlawful or fraudulent activity, including but not limited to money laundering under the laws of any jurisdiction that applies to the customer or to any member of the bet-at-home.com Group. In case the customer is suspected to be involved in any kind of money laundering or any activity related to money laundering bet-at-home reserves the right to report such activity to the Lotteries & Gaming Authority as well the FIAU.
    3. In the event an underaged customer is identified the account will be locked immediately. In case an underaged customer manages for any reason to deposit funds, any funds deposited or any money won by any such underaged person shall be forfeited to the Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA). Any such persons shall be forfeited to the Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA).
    4. Residents of the USA, Turkey and France are not allowed to open an account. Internet gambling may be wholly or partly restricted in some jurisdictions. It is the customer's responsibility to know if betting or gambling is legal in his country of residence. bet-at-home reserves the right to decline registrations from countries in which betting or gambling is considered illegal and accepts no responsibility for internet betting or gambling from residents in jurisdictions where it is illegal.
    5. By registering and placing a bet or participating in games where stakes are wagered, the customer confirms that he is not in the federal state of North Rhine Westphalia.
    6. According to § 10 para. 2 ECG the conclusion of a bet is confirmed by bet-at-home with the message: "Your bet is accepted!". This message has got influence neither on the place nor on the time of the contract conclusion. The contract of luck is accomplished at the location of bet-at-home, which is Malta.
    7. bet-at-home reserves the right to close an account in its sole discretion. In such cases, any funds will either be remitted to the customer or transferred to the Authority depending on the circumstances.
    8. The customer has the right to set a deposit limit or to exclude himself from either certain products or all product offers on www.bet-at-home.com for any preferred period of time by sending an e-mail to service.en@bet-at-home.com. A notice of the player increasing or revoking a limit or decreasing the exclusion has effect only after seven days after bet-at-home has received such notice.
  5. Account
    1. In order to use the services offered at bet-at-home the customer must have a valid betting account with sufficient funds. Depending on his credit on this account, the customer can immediately place bets and/or exchange them to play on our casino or skill games platforms.
    2. Customers are only allowed to open one account. Opening of multiple accounts is not permitted. Should we have reasonable suspicions that any of our customers has opened multiple accounts with us we reserve the right in our absolute discretion to freeze that customer's account or to close the account immediately and the customer shall forfeit all his winnings. Customers should also note that their original deposits will not be refunded.
    3. Only natural persons may open an account with bet-at-home. We don not accept legal persons.
    4. The bet-at-home betting account is set up on Maltese law. All transactions concerning this account, especially the acceptance of wagers are processed as per Maltese law.
    5. Upon clicking on the "Open Account" button on our registration page the customer will be presented with our registration form which includes the mandatory insertion of personal details and account details including the first and last name, a valid email address, date of birth, address, phone number, username and password. The customer is also requested to confirm that he is over 18 years of age and that he has read and accepted our General Terms and Conditions Policy. Once all mandatory fields have been completed and the Register button clicked, you will receive an email at your registered email address and you will be required to verify your email address by clicking on the appropriate link. Upon clicking on the Verify Email Link you will be automatically logged in to your new account enabling you to deposit and play with us.
    6. It is obligatory for customers when registering with us to:
      • Register in their own name and surname giving accurate, correct and complete;
      • Register with correct, complete, accurate and up to date place of residence;
      • Register with a valid e-mail address;
      • Register with a correct fixed line home/mobile phone number.
    7. Customers have the right to correct and/or erase wrong or inappropriate data at any time.
    8. Customers have the right to close their account without giving any reason. In order to do so, the customer has to inform bet-at-home via e-mail. As soon as bet-at-home has received such e-mail the customers account will be closed accordingly.
    9. Customers shall remain responsible for protecting the secrecy of their accounts and shall not allow third parties access to or use of their account. The Customer accepts full responsibility for the consequences of allowing such activities. It is also prohibited to deal or transfer funds amongst customer accounts.
    10. Before data can be transmitted by internet, the customer must use a code allocated to himself (betting account number and PIN, where each PIN can be changed by the customer). bet-at-home accepts no liability in the event of a betting account being used improperly by unauthorised persons entering the betting account number and PIN. Please note that the betting account number and PIN should be regarded as confidential information since all account transactions are charged to the customer once the betting account number and PIN have been specified.
    11. Free betting vouchers may be redeemed only once per person, family, household and generally used computers. The amount of the betting voucher has to be wagered three times (min. odd of 1,50), before a pay-out can be requested.
    12. If there is insufficient cover in the betting account and the missing amount is not transferred in sufficient time, incoming bets will be accepted as valid in the order in which they arrive provided that there is sufficient cover in the account for each individual bet. If a bet is only partially covered by the account balance, this is only valid in the proportion which is covered by the residual account balance.
    13. For an internet bet to be valid, the betting account - which the customer can check – must be in credit by at least the value of the stake.
    14. In the event of obvious errors in drawing up customer account balances, bet-at-home has the right to make the necessary amendments.
    15. Claims regarding account statements and the balances in these statements may only be made within 45 days of the betting event. Failure to claim shall be deemed an acceptance of the notified account balance.
    16. We strictly prohibit the use of robotic, mechanical, or electronic, or other devices to automatically make decisions in any game, whether such use is attempted or affected by one of our customer or by guest or by any third parties.
  6. Miscellaneous
    1. By accessing www.bet-at-home.com the customer agrees to this General Terms and Conditions.
    2. Customer's requests and complaints are handled via email, telephone and via live support – contact details can be found on the website. Following the unsuccessful resolution of a dispute between the customer and bet-at-home.com, the customer has the right to forward the complaint to the Maltese Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA) at complaints@lga.org.mt.
    3. Customers shall be aware of certain possibilities of gaming addiction. Problem gamblers can find contact of gamblers associations in the "responsible gaming" section on the website resp. ask the customer support.
    4. All terms and conditions regarding poker are written under the "Poker rules" section on the Poker page. bet-at-home holds the customer liable to read and accept these terms before he starts playing "Poker".
    5. In the event of there being a discrepancy between the English language version of these terms and conditions and any other language version, the English language version will prevail.
    6. The bet-at-home.com website works by using cookies for the following purposes:
      • To identify the account holder's preferred language so it is automatically selected when the account holder returns to bet-at-home.com.
      • To ensure bets the account holder places are associated with the account holder's betting coupon and account.
      • To ensure the account holder receives any bonuses the account holder is eligible for.
      • For analysis of bet-at-home.com website traffic to allow us to make suitable improvements.
    7. The customer has to be aware that it is not possible to use the bet-at-home.com site without cookies. If additional information about the company's use of cookies is requested, please email office@bet-at-home.com.
    8. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
  7. Exclusion and Limitation of Liability
    1. bet-at-home does not assume any liability for transmission-, input- and/or analysis- errors. In particular, bet-at-home reserves the right to correct obvious errors such as mistakes concerning odds or events/teams/etc. in its sole discretion. If bet-at-home does not make use of it, the event is assessed as having odds of 1,00. The stake shall only be deemed to be the amount recorded or confirmed by the betting office.
    2. Under no circumstances bet-at-home shall be liable for any damage caused by any incorrect, delayed, manipulated/rigged or abusive transfer of data via internet. bet-at-home will take any technologically and financially reasonable action so as to protect the customer information saved by bet-at-home, but will not be liable if third parties obtain control of, or process, user information despite such action being taken. It is agreed by common consent that no claims for damages may be asserted against bet-at-home in any such connection.
    3. The data transfer for online betting or gambling requires the use of betting account number and pincode, which shall be kept secret. bet-at-home will not be liable for any abuse of the betting account through the customer´s account number and pincode by third parties. Furthermore, bet-at-home shall not be liable and shall be held harmless for any losses incurred by a customer due to the use of the betting account by any third party and such losses shall not be refunded by bet-at-home.
    4. In case of violation of these Terms and Conditions or other provisions applicable to the use of the gaming or betting services the customer is obliged to indemnify and harmless bet-at-home for all resulting claims of third parties and all claims for the refund of losses, costs , damages or any other disadvantages arising thereof.

    2. bet-at-home reserves the right to pay out all funds only in EURO.
    3. Changes of foreign currency exchange rates are not within the liability of bet-at-home.
    4. At the customer's request, winnings or a proportion of his winnings may be transferred immediately from his credit balance to an account which he has specified. Payouts exceeding EUR 2,000 require the customer's identity, age and place of residence. If no transaction has been recorded on a customer's account for thirty month (dormant accounts), the funds on the customer's account will be paid out. If the customer can't be located, the funds will be remitted to the LGA. It is unlawful to deposit funds obtained from ill-gotten means. Therefore all transactions are checked to prevent money laundering and suspicious transactions will be reported.
    5. The funds will remain on the betting account until the withdrawal has been processed. It is the customers' responsibility that the account balance remains high enough to cover the requested withdrawal until the withdrawal has been processed. In case the balance does not cover the amount requested the withdrawal order will be cancelled by bet-at-home.
    6. bet-at-home reserves the right to transfer withdrawals only to the same bank account from where the funds paid into the customer's account originated.
    7. bet-at-home reserves the right to withhold funds from withdrawals in case these funds were not used for wagering/betting.
    8. bet-at-home regularly offers different kind of bonuses, competitions and promotions. The customer has been informed in detail about the respective term published on the website www.bet-at-home.com, which he declares to have read and accepted by participating.
    9. On request, the customer shall undertake to provide a copy of an official photographic identification document (passport, driver's licence, personal ID card) and a copy of the credit cards used by the user before the withdrawal will be processed.
  10. Profit Limits
      The profit limit per bet is EUR 20,000.
      The profit limit per customer and per week is EUR 100,000.
  11. Privacy Policy
    1. Customers data are strictly confidential and will be used solely by bet-at-home.com, subject to exceptions contained in these Terms & Conditions or under applicable law.
    2. The company adheres to the Data Protection Act, other relevant regulations, legal notices and/or similar at the Place of the Contract taking account of the Data Protection Directive (EC Directive 95/46/EC) and the Electronic Communications Privacy Directive (EC Directive/2002/58/EC.
    3. bet-at-home ensures their account holders that, at all times:
      1. all personal data is processed in accordance with the rights of the account holder concerned;
      2. all personal data is processed fairly and lawfully;
      3. all personal data is always processed in accordance with good practice;
      4. personal data is only collected for specific, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes;
      5. personal data is not processed for any purpose that is incompatible with that for which the information is collected;
      6. personal data that is processed is adequate and relevant in relation to the purposes of the processing;
      7. no more personal data is processed than is necessary with regards to the purposes of the processing;
      8. the personal data that is processed is correct and, if necessary, up to date;
      9. no personal data is kept for a period longer than is necessary, with regards to the purposes for which they are process
      10. and that all reasonable measures are taken to complete, correct, block or erase data to the extent that such data is incomplete or incorrect, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed.
    4. bet-at-home discloses personal data when ordered to do so by order of the Governing Authorities and/or under provision in the Governing Law. Furthermore, the company reserves the right to disclose personal data to relevant recipients when the company has reasonable grounds to suspect irregularities that involve a bet-at-home betting account.
    5. bet-at-home reserves the right to process personal data for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) purposes.
    6. bet-at-home may supply personal data to third parties on an opt-in basis in case of direct marketing activities.
